GOD IS WITH US

“The Lord himself will give you a sign. Look, the young woman is with child and shall bear a son, and shall name him Immanuel.” – Isaiah. 7:14. This prophecy of Isaiah has come true in the life of Mother Mary when the angel Gabriel appeared to her and said, “And now, you will conceive in your womb and bear a Son, and you will name him Jesus” – Luke. 1:31. Thus, the virgin conceived and bore a son and named him Emmanuel, which means, “God is with us” – Matthew. 1:23.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” – John. 1:1. “And this Word became flesh and lived among us.” – John. 1:14.

VALUE OF WISDOM

Most of us think worldly wisdom has more weight & value. Today science provides new gadgets and inventions everyday which attract the minds of young and even the older ones. Parents like to educate their children to the maximum for which they are ready to spend any amount of money. Mostly to acquire status in the society, good future and good job. But happiness does not come from our education, position, power or money. True happiness comes from the DIVINE WISDOM. Word of God tells us “Happy are those who find wisdom and those who get understanding for her income is better than silver. She is more precious than jewels and nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life in her right hand, in her left hand are riches and honour. Her ways are ways of pleasantness and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her. Those who hold her fast are called happy” (Prov. 3:13-18)

DIVINE WORD FESTIVAL

A great multitude of people gathered at Divine Community Centre, Kenchankere, Mulki on 1st December 2012, to celebrate the 2nd Anniversary of Divine Mission Society. Five anointed servants of God shared the Word of God from morning 8.00 am to 4.00 pm. It was a festival of Divine Word. All the people were blessed and received God’s grace in abundance. People present were really filled with God’s Love and were deeply enriched by the Word of God. The celebration ended with the Holy Eucharist and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. The presence of God’s spirit was greatly felt all throughout the day. Indeed it was a Blessed Day.

ಸ೦ಸಾರಾಚಿ ಜಾಣ್ವಾಯ್ ಚಡ್ ಮೊಲಾಧಿಕ್ ಮ್ಹಣ್ ಆಮಿ೦ ಚಿ೦ತ್ತಾ೦ವ್. ಆಯ್ಚ್ಯಾ ಹ್ಯಾ ಆಧುನಿಕ್ ಕಾಳಾರ್ ವಿಜ್ನಾನ ವರ್ವಿ೦ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ತ್ ಜಾಲ್ಲಿ೦ ನವಿ೦ ನವಿ೦ ಯ೦ತ್ರ ಆನಿ ಸೊಧ್ನ್ಯೊ ತರ್ನಾಟ್ಯಾ೦ಕ್ ತಶೆ ವ್ಹಡಾ೦ಕ್ ಆಕರ್ಶಿತ್ ಕರ್ತಾತ್. ವ್ಹಡಿಲಾ೦ ಆಪ್ಲ್ಯಾ ಭುರ್ಗ್ಯಾ೦ನಿ ಜಾಯ್ ತಿತ್ಲೆ ಶಿಕಾಪ್ ಜೊಡಿಜೈ ಮ್ಹಣ್ ಕಿತ್ಲೆಯೀ ಪಯ್ಶೆ ಖರ್ಚ್ ಕರು೦ಕ್ ಪಾಟಿ೦ ಸರನಾ೦ತ್. ಉದ್ಧೇಶ್, ಸಮಾಜಿ೦ತ್ ಏಕ್ ನಾ೦ವ್, ಬರೊ ಪುಡಾರ್ ಆನಿ ಬರೆ೦ ಕಾಮ್. ಕಿತ್ಲೆ ಬರೆ೦ ಕಾಮ್, ಹುದ್ದೊ, ಶಿಕಾಪ್ ಯಾ ದುಡು ಆಸ್ಲ್ಯಾರೀ ಹ್ಯಾ ವರ್ವಿ೦ ಮನ್ಶಾಕ್ ಸ೦ತೋಸ್ ಮೆಳಾನಾ. ಖರೊ ಸ೦ತೊಸ್ ಆಪ್ಣಾಯ್ಜೆ ಜಾಲ್ಯಾರ್ ದೈವಿಕ್ ಜಾಣ್ವಾಯ್ ಆಮ್ಕಾ೦ ಗರ್ಜೆಚಿ ಜಾವ್ನಾಸಾ. ದೆವಾಚೆ೦ ಉತಾರ್ ಆಮ್ಕಾ೦ ಸಾ೦ಗ್ತಾ "ಜ್ಯಾ ಮನ್ಶಾಕ್ ಜಾಣ್ವಾಯ್ ಮೆಳ್ತಾ, ಜ್ಯಾ ಮನ್ಶಾಕ್ ಸಮ್ಜೊಣಿ ಮೆಳ್ತಾ ತೊ ಭಾಗಿ. ತಿಚೊ ಫಾಯ್ದೊ ರುಪ್ಯಾಚ್ಯಾ ಫಾಯ್ದ್ಯಾ ಪಾಸ್ ವರ್‍ತೊ. ತಿಚೊ ಆದಾಯ್ ಭಾ೦ಗಾರಾ ಪ್ರಾಸ್ ವರ್ತೊ, ಪವ್ಳ್ಯಾ೦ ಪ್ರಾಸ್ ತಿ ಮೊಲಾಧಿಕ್, ತುಜೊ ಬರ್‍ಯಾ೦ತ್ಲ್ಯೊ ಬರೊ ವಸ್ತು ತಿಕಾ ಬರಾಬರ್ ನಹಿ೦. ಲಾ೦ಬ್ ಆವ್ಕ್ ಆಸಾ ತಿಚಾ ಉಜ್ವ್ಯಾ ಹಾತಾ೦ತ್ ಗ್ರೇಸ್ತ್‌ಕಾಯ್ ಆನಿ ಮಾನ್ ತಿಚ್ಯಾ ದಾವ್ಯಾ ಹಾತಾ೦ತ್ ತಿಚೊ ವಾಟೊ ಸ೦ತೊಸಾಚ್ಯೊ ವಾಟೊ, ಸಗ್ಳೆ ತಿಚೆ ಮಾರಗ್ ಸುಖಾಕ್ ಪಾವಯ್ತಾಲೆ. ತಿಕಾ ಧರ್‍ತಲ್ಯಾ೦ಕ್ ತಿ ಜಿವಿತಾಚೊ ರೂಕ್. ತಿಕಾ ಘಟ್ ಧರ್‍ತಾತ್ ತಿ೦ ಭಾಗಿ." (ಮ್ಹಣ್ಯೊ 3:13-18)

BE GENEROUS

Just yesterday, someone told me, years ago, a priest visited them and prayed for the family. The poor family had nothing to give to him except a few coins. The priest got angry with them for giving him so little, so he refused to take that money and told them to buy peanuts and give to the children. This incident reminded me of what Jesus had said about the poor widow, in the gospels. “A poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which are worth a penny”. Then he called his disciples and said to them “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the treasury, for all of them have contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty has put in everything she had, all she had to live on” (Mk. 12:42-22).
