So, we continue with zeal, the mission entrusted to us. We welcome each and everyone of you to be a part of our mission. All those who are committed to this task are welcome to join us, in order to fulfill this mission.
Prayer is basically lifting our minds and hearts to God requesting him to grant our needs and wishes. We always ask other people to pray for us. We explain our problems and our physical needs to people expecting them to pray. But who exactly is going to answer our prayers? Is it the people we go to? No, my dear brothers and sisters. The Word of God tells us, “Ask, and it will be given to you; search and you will find; knock and the door will be opened for you.” – Matthew 7:7. These words are said by Jesus Christ; the only one who can answer all our prayers. “Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”- Philippians 4:6.

A Faithful friend is someone who is loyal and steadfast, someone who remains supportive and dependable, even through difficult times. A faithful friend is one who will allow your suffering to affect their life. A faithful friend is a relationship built on mutual respect, trust and love. In today’s world I can never find anyone who can remain so faithful except Jesus Christ. He is truly my faithful and my best friend. I know I can depend on him at all times; in sickness, in troubles, in pain and in distress. Jesus Christ is the only one whom I can trust blindly and also gain love unconditionally. All through my life, my difficulties and pain, my sickness and sorrow I had no one with me except my Jesus who promises me, “And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”- Matthew 28:20.
“Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory, for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness.” – Psalm 115:1
The word of God teaches us to glorify only God and not other creation or creature. “Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples.” – Psalm 96:3. “Yours, O Lord, are the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty; for all that is in the heavens and on the earth is yours; yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all.”- 1 Chronicles 29:11. God has created only us, human beings in his likeness and in his image. “And we were bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body.” – 1 Corinthians 6:20.
The tongue is a very small member of our body. But it is a very powerful one. There is a saying, “Just like a pen in the hand of a writer so is the tongue in the body of a man”. Words can build up someone or break them down. Words can console someone or stir up anger. Words have the power to bring life as well as death. What we speak with our tongue depends on the life we lead. The bible speaks in many places about taming the tongue, but I’m sure none of us have ever read it. Or even if we have read about it, we have not taken it seriously. So now let us reflect a little about it.
