THE PROMISE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

"When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. And suddenly from heaven there came a sound like the rush of a violent wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. Divided tongues, as of fire, appeared among them, and a tongue rested on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them ability.” – Acts. 2:1-4

“God has done mighty deeds in my Life”

Right from the olden times referring to the Old Testament God sent many prophet’s to proclaim the good news and what God wanted to speak to his people to be known through His prophet’s. This present time God has sent Fr. Jerry as a prophet to us. If someone is reading my testimony and really want to hear from God, listen to Fr. Jerry.

I am Steevan from Chandor Goa. I was well settled and was having a good business, daily enjoying, good food, drinks, parties, picnics, no importance to God  Sunday Christian. This went on for many years suddenly there was a stop in my life. My business was gone my close relative over took all  my business and I was left with nothing. I had no job or any source of income. Being at home I started watching Rophe TV and was very much keen to listen to Fr. Jerry’s talks (sermon’s). I started attending Fr. Jerry’s retreats. After five retreats I spoke to Fr. Jerry about my life and expected some guidance. He was in a hurry. He told me only four sentences.

1. 1972 ಮ್ಹಜೆ೦ ನಿಮಾಣೆ೦ ಭಯ್ಣ್ ಜಲ್ಮಾಲ್ಲ್ಯಾ ತೆದಳಾ ತಾಚ್ಯಾ ಜಿಬೆಕ್ ದಾಟ್ ಪಿಟೆ೦ ಜಾಲ್ಲೆ೦. ಮ್ಹಜ್ಯಾ ವ್ಹಡ್ಲಿಮಾ೦ಯ್ನ್ ಮ್ಹಕಾ ಸಾ೦ಗ್ಲೆ೦ ಪಯ್ಲ್ಯೊ 2 ಭಯ್ಣಿ೦ ಅಸ್ಯೊಚ್ಚ್ ಸರ್ಲೊಲ್ಯೊ. ತೆದ್ನಾ೦ ಹಾ೦ವೆ ಜೆಜುಕಡೆ ಮಾಗ್ಲೆ೦. ಹ್ಯಾ ಮ್ಹಜ್ಯಾ ಭಯ್ಣಿಕ್ ವರಿನಾಕಾ ಮ್ಹಣೊನ್. ಸಕಾಳಿ೦ ಪಳೆತಾನಾ ತಾಚ್ಯಾ ಜಿಬೆರ್ ಪಿಟೆ೦ ನಾತ್ಲೆಲೆ೦. ಮ್ಹಾಕಾ ಖುಶಿ ಜಾಲಿ. ಆನಿ೦ ಆಜ್ ಮ್ಹಾಕಾ ಕಳೊನ್ ಆಯ್ಲಾ೦. ಜೆಜು ತಾಚ್ಯಾ ಭುರ್ಗ್ಯಾ೦ಚೆ೦ ಮಾಗ್ಣೆ೦ ಆಯ್ಕಾತಾ ಮ್ಹಣೊನ್.

2. 1985 ಹಾ೦ವ್ ಬೊ೦ಬೈ೦ತ್ ಕಾಮಾಕ್ ವೆತಾನಾ೦ ಪಾಟಿ೦ ಯೆತಾನಾ೦ ಬಸ್ಸಾಚೆರ್ ರೈಲ್ ಗಾಡಿಯೆಚೆರ್ ಲೋಕಾನ್ ಬುರ್ಶೆ೦ ಉಲೊಣೆ೦ ಉಲೊ೦ವ್ಚೆ೦ ಬರೆ೦ ಲಾಗಾನಾತ್ಲೆ೦. ಏಕ್ ದೀಸ್ ಜೆಜುಕಡೆ ಮಾಗ್ಲೆ೦ ಮ್ಹಜೆ೦ ಕಾನ್ ಕೆಪ್ಪೆ ಕರ್ ದೆವಾ ಮ್ಹಣೊನ್. ದುಸ್ರೆ ದೀಸ್ ಕಾಮಾಕ್ ವೆತಾನಾ೦ ಮ್ಹಜೆ೦ ಕಾನ್ ಆಯ್ಕಾನಾ ಜಾಲೆ. ಆನಿ೦ ಮ್ಹಾಕಾ ಭೈ೦ ದಿಸ್ಲೆ೦. ಹ್ಯಾ ಪ್ರಾಯೆರ್ ಮ್ಹಜೆ ಕಾನ್ ಆಯ್ಕಾನಾ ಜಾಲ್ಯಾರ್ ಮ್ಹಾಕಾ ಕಷ್ಟ್ ಜಾಯ್ತ್. ಉಪ್ರಾ೦ತ್ ತ್ಯಾಚ್ ಘಡಿಯೆ ಮ್ಹಜಿ ಚೂಕ್ ಜಾಲಿ, ಮ್ಹಾಕಾ ಭೊಗ್ಶಿ ಜೆಜು ಮ್ಹಣೊನ್ ಮಾಫ್ ಮಾಗ್ಲೆ೦. ಥೊಡ್ಯಾಚ್ ವೆಳಾ ಉಪ್ರಾ೦ತ್ ಮ್ಹಜೆ ಕಾನ್ ಆಯ್ಕೊ೦ಕ್ ಲಾಗ್ಲೆ.

I AM THE CHOSEN ONE

My dear brothers and sisters, I am confidently able to say that truly ‘I am the chosen one’. As the word tells, “You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own people, in order that you may proclaim the mighty acts of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” – 1 Peter 2:9

Jesus tells us a parable about the wedding banquet, where the King sends his slaves to call all the invited guests. But none of the guests took the invitation seriously and refuse to attend the banquet. The King was enraged and sent his slaves again to call all those who were on the streets, both good and bad; so the wedding hall was filled with guests. But the King noticed a man who was not wearing a wedding robe. So he was bound and thrown into the outer darkness - Matthew. 22:1-13. Though this parable, Jesus explains that “Many are called, but few are chosen.” – Matthew. 22:14.
