Yes, my dear brothers and sisters in Christ; Jesus only is our true God and Savior through whom we can attain eternal life. “Because if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” – Romans 10:9
We hear in the gospel of St. Luke about a rich chief tax collector, Zacchaeus. When Jesus calls out to him to stay in his house, he leaves everything behind and holds on to Jesus. And Jesus says, “Today salvation has come to this house.” – Lk 19:9
This Jesus, who is born of a virgin, who is named Emmanuel, who is “God with us”; is the only one who can save us from our sins and lead us to salvation. “for everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” – Roman 10:13
