“In the Beginning when God created the heavens and the earth, the earth was a formless void and darkness covered the face of the deep.” – Genesis 1:1-2. So God created humankind in his image in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” -Genesis 1:27.
God created man to live in his ways and according to his statutes and in his path. “God chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world” – Ephesians 1:4. God gave man all that he needed for his survival. But through sin we have caused a block between God and man. “Your iniquities have been barriers between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear.” -Isaiah 59:2
Each time we sin, we move away from God. But he is ever-ready to accept us back into his kingdom if we repent for our sins and return to him. This is what we were all taught as children; that God made us to love him and to serve him. We need to make that decision from this day onwards to love God and be away from sin.
“Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 2:5.
