“Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known” – Jer 33:3. The is a very big promise the Lord is giving his children. Whenever we call on to him he surely answers us in his time and in his ways according to his will which is always for our good.
King David trusted in the Lord God alone and always called on to him and received blessings. “I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, so shall I be saved from my enemies.” – Psalm 18:3. “In my distress I called upon the Lord; to my God I called for help. From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry to him reached his ears.” – Psalm 18:6. “I sought the Lord and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.” – Psalm 34:4. “This poor soul cried, and was heard by the Lord, and was saved from every trouble.” – Psalm 34:6
“O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever.” – Psalm 107:1. “I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples, and I will sing praises to you among the nations.” – Psalm 108:3. “We give thanks to you, O God; we give thanks; your name is near. People tell of your wondrous deeds.” – Psalm 75:1.
My dear brothers and sisters, from the time we were conceived in the womb of our mother till this very moment, the Lord has protected us from all evil, accidents, untimely deaths, diseases, sicknesses; the Lord has provided us all our needs, wants, desires, food, clothing, shelter; the Lord has guided us through all our struggles, our weaknesses our plans and our decisions; and how many times we have really thanked the Lord, our God, Jesus Christ? This is one question we really need to ask ourselves.
“Everyone who commits sin is guilty of lawlessness; sin is lawlessness.” – 1 Jn 3:4. “But if we confess our sins, he who is faithful and just, will forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” – 1 Jn 1:9
All of us, human beings, fall into sin. There is no one in this world who is good and perfect and free from sin. For the Word of God itself tells us, “There is no one who is righteous, not even one.” – Rom 3:10. “If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.” – 1 Jn 1:10.
Jesus says “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.” – John 8:12. “If we walk in the light as he himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.” – 1 John 1:7. Jesus has called us a “chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own people, in order that you may proclaim the mighty acts of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” – 1 Pet 2:9
O Lord you are mighty,
And I will praise you highly,
Heavens cannot hold your glory,
O great Lord have entered in my heart so humbly.
Your deeds are greater than distance between heavens and earth,
You put your praises in the mouths of the babes at their birth,
Your greatness is beyond the borders of the nations,
I will wait for you in great patience.
Your mercy is deeper than the ocean,
So I run to you, when there is commotion,
Your beauty has no words to describe,
But still my heart will magnify you like a ready scribe.
O look at him who is seated on high,
Jesus is the King of kings and Lord of lords,
Praise his deeds day and night,
Play him a new songs on new chords.

On your words I had put my trust,
And my soul found its strength when it was crushed.
My blind eyes could see in dark,
Because your words have so much of power.
I just believe in your words,
And said 'Amen' to your promises,
It gave me victory in my battles,
And saved me from fatels.
Your word just relieved me of my burdens,
And made my way simple,
You made it easy -the things which was difficult,
And saved me from failures.
