Every human person here on earth, desires to be great, well known, popular, famous and be recognized by all for some kind of achievement. But it is said without pain there is no gain. It is true my dear brothers and sisters. Before we stand on a victory stand we have to fight, struggle, work hard and face all challenges in life. As St. Paul writes to Timothy saying “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith, from now on there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me, on that day and not only to me but also to all who have longed for his appearing” (2 Timothy 4:7-8)

Jesus said “In the world you face persecution, but take courage. I have conquered the world”  (Jn. 16:33)

Yes! Dear brothers and sisters, people in the world suffer in various ways. People come to me with their varied problems. Many are suffering due to sickness, others suffer due to poverty, exploitation, injustice, enemity, quarrels, hatred, anger, revenge, mental disorder, broken family, joblessness and almost all suffer due to guilt. For all these problems, the answer is Jesus. So trust in him and come to him. So if you are suffering from any of the following problems, then the answer is Jesus.

To those who are heavily burned with sins, debts, lonliness, Jesus says “Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble of heart and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Mt. 11:28-30)

One must ask himself, whether, he lives to eat or eats to live? Many in the world are so much worried about Roti, Kapda aur Makan means, what to eat, what to wear and where to live. My dear brothers and sisters, listen, what Jesus says “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, or about your body what you will wear. Is not life more than food and the body more than the clothing?” (Mt. 6:25). We all are over concerned about our needs of the body. But Jesus tells us “It is the spirit which gives life, the flesh is useless. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life” (Jn. 6:63)

Everyone, here on earth, wants to be blessed. But many think that, if they have enough to eat, to drink, to wear and to enjoy, they are blessed. Just yesterday someone remarked, what use, if you have a golden bed, but can’t get good sleep? Yes my dear brothers and sisters, blessings come from above, I mean from God. we read in the letter of James “Every generous act of giving, with every perfect gift, is from above, coming down from the father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change” (James. 1:17). When do we receive blessings? We read in the book of Deuteronomy “If you will only obey the Lord your God, by deligently observing all his commandments, that I am commanding you today, the Lord your God will set you on high above all the nations of the earth and blessings will come upon you and will overtake you and the following blessings will come upon you.” (Deut. 28:102)

DEPENDENT ON HIM

Every morning you wake me up,
And give me hope that all the difficulties I can cope up,
You give me a new strength and make me stand up.
And you never let my soul give up.

Jesus is my rock and my salvation,
In him is my trust in times of destruction,
I have a good and never giving up companion
He is my best friend my champion.

Thank you Abba Father for this your love,
Thank you for the gift of your son,
You lighten up my life like a sun,
You restored me, so that I can run the race that you wish me to run

Holy Ghost my strongest hope,
In everything I do I find your help to cope,
Never let me hurt you in my entire life,
And on that day through you my salvation is for sure.
