“When the three wise men had heard the king, they set out; and there, ahead of them, went the star that they had seen at its rising, until it stopped over the place where the child was.” – Matt. 2:9. It was a shining star that led the three wise men to where Jesus was born. When they had finished paying homage to Jesus, they did not need any star to take them back home. They came to know Jesus; and they themselves became a star to lead others to Jesus.

“For all things are yours, whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future all belong to you, and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God.” – 1 Cor 3:21-23. My dear brothers and sisters, it is God who created us and brought us to this world through our parents. “God said, Let us make humankind in our image, according to our likeness” – Gen 1:26. “Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and the man became a living being.” – Gen 2:7

Yes, my dear brothers and sisters, God has put life into each and every human being and has “created mankind in his image and according to his likeness” – Gen 1:26. There is a celebration when any child is born and every year that day is celebrated in rememberance of the life put in that person. But what is important is that does every human being really cherish that ‘life’ in Christ?
