Are you in distress? Are you in need of help? Are you in trouble? Then you have a sure solution. The word of God says, “Call to me and I will answer you and I will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.” – Jeremiah 33:3

We run from place to place to get an answer for our problem. We run from person to person to get solace for our pains. We run from religion to religion to know who the true God is. But we do not realize that, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” – Romans 10:13. All those who have called on to God has always received.

In the Psalms we read, King David all the time called on to God and he was delivered from all his enemies. “I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, so shall I be saved from my enemies” – Psalm 18:3. “In my distress I called upon the Lord; to my God. I cried for help. From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry to him reached his ears.” – Psalm 18:6

The things that are impossible for human beings to accomplish are possible for God. We can see in the life of Jonah. From the belly of the fish he calls out to God. “I called out to God the Lord out of my distress, and he answered me; out of the belly of Sheol I cried, and you heard my voice.” – Jonah 2:2. We need to just take that small step from our side and then the Lord will work.

In this pandemic situation, the whole world is suffering. Some due to the sickness and some due to the insufficiency of necessities. This is the time and hour to call on to Jesus “There is nothing impossible for God” – Luke 1:37. God is able to wipe away this deadly disease from the world and save his children. Now Jesus is promising us, “If in my name you ask for anything, I will do it.” – John 14:14. “Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.” – John 16:24

My dear brothers and sisters, as you complete reading this, with faith call on to Jesus and ask him to save us all from this present situation and believe that he will answer us. Amen.
